Our Story

The tale of how it all began stated in the year 2019. With a novice intend to enlighten the importance of psychological well-being. Little did anybody know that the need for paying attention to the emotional health would turn out to be a major necessity in the coming year, 2020. When the world was struggling through work, financial, family, and physical stability. A year when everybody was forced to stay into their homes. A place where all the problems ended became the source of distress for most of the population. Stressful hours while working from home, salary cuts due to a massive dip in the influx of money, having being stuck far away from family and not being able to go out. Became the major causes of mental and emotional tension. These things lead to increase in agitated verbatim between couples [and family members, it also brought a drastic rise in the number of domestic violence instances and withdrawal symptoms in addicts (alcohol, drug, nicotine, etc.)] OR [increased friction between family members and individual pressure trying to manage and balance everything together.]

While juggling to attain composure in all aspects of life, we often forget to pay attention to ourselves. And not realise when these small setbacks or family tensions turn into emotional suffering. Not being able to hold oneself together results in causing a further deeper impact on mental health. Stress is often inevitable, but with proper guidance, we can learn to channelize our emotions and rationalize our actions.

Emotional Workout Studio (EWS), was a brainchild of psychologist Pratibha Singh. It was one-of-a-kind initiative, in Jodhpur, designed to assist people to enhance their emotional fitness. EWS was specially planned to target the population of the Blue City. With a vision to first throw some light on the importance of emotional fitness, then analysing if you are fit and finally progressing towards taking the right measure to well-being. While Pratibha Singh continued to work with clients for their daily tussles she realised that she wanted to offer more .She was able to work on enhancing emotional well-being for individuals but for more greater challenges such as Mental Health Disorders such as Panic Disorder, Mood Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Dissociative Disorder, Trauma, Personality Disorders and other diagnosable mental health conditions, she found herself at crossroads wherein she knew that her clients would benefit more from specialised  care but she felt frustrated she cannot provide that yet. This sow the seed for Ms Singh's journey from being a counselling Psychologist to clinical Psychologist She went through a rigorous two year training at King George's Medical University. After coming back, she laid the foundation for SAMPURNAM.

Sampurnam, now a Compassionate and Curious space for all your mental health needs, ranging from Psychodiagnosis, Psychological Evaluations and much more. Sampurnam aims to bridge the gap of mental health needs and specialised care treatment, not just People of  the Jodhpur but everyone from anywhere.
